Brahmashri Sri Avvaru Annayya Tirthulu Swami
Brahmashri Sri Avvaru Annayya Tirthulu Swami was born on February 2, 1911, in the small village called Thondaladinne. He was the second child of Aswarthamma and Kondaiah. After marrying, he settled in Proddutur, where he and his family, belonging to the Padmashali community, made their living through weaving.
Swami was inspired by the profound teachings of Brahmashri Jagadguru Sri Vedanta Lakshmanarylu Swami.
Brahmashri Sri Avvaru Annayya Tirthulu Swami devoted himself to spiritual practice and became a dedicated disciple. His unwavering faith and commitment led him to gain profound insights into self-realization under the guidance of his revered mentor. Swami establishment the ashram in Nallaobulavari village, Chinna Gottigillu mandal, Pileru taluk, where he devoted himself to teaching and spiritual guidance. Under Swami's guidance, prominent scholar Brahmarshi Sri Dondla Krishna Swami was trained as key preacher.
