Bindu married at 18, said husband wondered why she wanted to act but respected her ‘shauq’: ‘I never attended a party alone’

Bindu worked in movies for 40 years before she decided to take time off from showbiz. The actor, who was popular for her dance moves and vamp roles, recently opened up about how she continued to work after getting married at a time when such things were not the norm. Speaking with Bollywood Hungama, Bindu said, “No one knew I was married and I didn’t tell anyone, (I thought) let the work go how it has been going, how does my being married matter?”
