Can BJP win back Karnataka by turning to Yediyurappa, Deve Gowda?

Bengaluru: Two men seen on video 'stealing ₹13 lakh’ from parked BMW
In a video that has emerged from Bengaluru, two men could be seen smashing the window of a parked BMW car and allegedly stealing ₹13 lakh from it. The incident took place on October 20, news agency ANI reported, adding that the police have registered a case.

Will look into it, says Karnataka govt on revoking hijab ban
The Congress-led Karnataka government has said it will look into the hijab ban in educational institutions after Amnesty India sought the revocation of the ban. In a series of tweets, Amnesty India on Tuesday asked the Karnataka government to take three priority actions for human rights, including the immediate revoking of the ban on women wearing hijabs in educational institutions.

After inducting eight ministers into the cabinet during the swearing-in ceremony of chief minister Siddaramaiah and deputy chief minister DK Shivakumar on Saturday, the Congress now faces an uphill task of deciding on the remaining 24 cabinet berths. Behind DK Shivakumar Accepting No. 2 Spot, Sonia Gandhi's Big Role
After long deliberations, Karnataka Congress Chief, DK Shivakumar, reluctantly accepted to take up the Deputy Chief Minister's role following former party president Sonia Gandhi's intervention, sources claimed. The Congress top brass has chosen Siddaraiamah for the Chief Minister post, with Mr Shivakumar as his deputy. The deal was clinched after Sonia Gandhi spoke to Mr Shivakumar - who had been firm on his demand for the Chief Minister post - late last evening to resolve the deadlock.
